Who says Singapore has NO talents?? Do we need foreign talents to boost up the image and reputation of our country? Do we need some magic and miracles to achieve that?? Well, let JC Sum and Babe Ning show the world what Singapore home-grown talents can do! Miracle no, but yes, they perform MAGIC!! Both are illusionists and have been a talking point in town since they performed jaw-dropping Mega Illusion teleport in front of 9,000 audience! Cooool stuff and pair...Not only are they cute and cool in looks, appearance, charisma, but their magic stuff are hitting Asia, moving across Asia Pacific and doing Singapore proud! Well, Eikon.sg is proud and honoured to be able to do up their eikon! :-)

MMORPGs Saga

MMORPG - We are sure many are into it, and most tend to play at least once/one MMOG in their lifetime!
To play most of these games, users must actually pay a recurring monthly fee ranging from ten to twenty dollars. The genre of Massively Multiplayer is becoming more prevalent than ever...so what makes people 'hooked' to the game and invest large amount of their time into it?
In a MMORPG, the entire group one interacting is primarily comprised of real people, hooked up to the game via the Internet, and few if any would be controlled by the game's server. In other words, other than the 'skills level' they are trying to build their character in a game, they form community (by inviting friends to join their group).
So, here's the catch - the drawing and appealing factor is the community - what really MMORPGs are about, and is obviously the only thing offered to keep the gamers that cannot be obtained in a better form elsewhere. Afterall, no man is an island.
The amazing attachment to the character created and the community bonding is undeniably attractive to keep having one to get into the game. With emergence of so many MMOGs since War Craft times, many may even have a hard time deciding which one to jumpstart. We see an interesting trend due to the increased demands in MMOGs: a shift of customers from making an eikon of themselves to making eikon of their MMOG characters! Cool!! :-)
Well, games is a MUST for everyone (to break away from the life stress and put us back into sanity)...as long as we play with care and healthy self without the sacrifice of our time, sleep, work, play, other hobbies and socialisation and interaction. Okie, afterall, we are living in a realistic rather than a virtual world.

P/S:

  • MMOGs stands for Massive Multiplayer Online Game &
  • MMOPGs stands for Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games

Art-a-fair

Jointly organised with ClayWorkz Academy, the art event was a successful one. We have customers captivated and drawn to the figurines even before we fully completed the setup. Many customers were excited to see the display of our art works and amazed by the numerous designs available and the full customisation service we provide. Within minutes, our booth was piled with crowds - some flocked in to admire the figurines, while others checking out on product details. At few points that the responses were so over-whelming that we need to miss our meal to handle the enquiries - but THANK YOU for all those who had showed great interest! :-) And we hope to see you again at the event next year!

Event: Art-a-fair
Date: March 8th-9th, 2008
Time: 11am - 8pm

In remembrance – Lydia Shum

February 20th, 2008 marked the gloomy day for Hong Kong entertainment circle - this is the day where Lydia Shum Din-Ha, also known as Lydia Sum (殿 aka Fei Fei , literally Fat Fat, Fat Sister or Fatty), a popular Hong Kong comedienne, MC and actress known for her portly figure, signature dark rimmed glasses and bouffant hairstyle, passed away due to liver cancer.

She was so affectionately known to peers and fans and stood out as one of the most endearing and recognizable entertainment icons in Hong Kong society, that we recalled one of our customers who is Lydia's die-hard fans, actually ordered a huge eikon of Lydia Shum and placed it at her retail shop front! What a fan!

But Lydia who had remained a popular public figure for nearly five decades, is more than just a popular actress or TVB entertainer. She shines like a legendary star, a single mother and a brave warrior against her illnesses - living up to her life motto: 'fate is in our own hands'.

Lydia Shum will forever be remembered: an iconic Eikon.
